RE: College football - week 6

I watched almost all of the Michigan vs Illinois game, but at the end I got tired of watching Ron Zook and "Juice" Ike Williams pick apart and spank the "Wolverines"! Bagman.I felt the same way when Pete Carroll and Mark Sanchez punched the "Buckeyes" right in the mouth and left them for dead on the field a couple weeks ago. :B :B :B

RE: Diesel vs gas......................

Ponie, Numerous people have pointed out articles and online content to you showing the pull off times between gas and diesel. You refuse to acknowledge them, then come back with the same "I'll only believe it when I see it" routine. Do you think Trailer Life, or the other sites mentioned are purposefully skewing the results? Do you really think you'd find different results? Is anyone really going to waste a perfectly good day (not to mention quite a few bucks in fuel) just to get you to stop? Do you really think lower HP and Torque are going to keep up?

RE: College football - week 3

Where are the OSU fans? Hello, Chuck? tap...tap...tap....Is this thing on? Sorry Chuck, I had to say something after all the smack you've talked. UM is certainly going to be lucky to have a respectable season, but expectations weren't overly lofty this year anyhow. OSU, on the other hand, chokes and pukes for the 3rd straight big time, prime time game against a non-conference opponent. Tressell needs to forget Boeckman and start Pryor from here on out. After that drubbing, you'll never sniff the BCS final anyway and Pryor is your QB of the future. I also enjoyed big tuna's mention of Michigan once again. It's amazing how obsessed he is with our program. I guess a recent New Year's Day beatdown will do that to a fan.

RE: Chev/GMC 1500HD owners and 5th wheels. What do you tow ?

I guess if you want to you could swap the 3.73 for 4.10s and have a 2500HD.Well, you would have a truck with the same engine, transmission and rear gear ratio as a 6.0L equipped 2500HD, but you still wouldn't have a 2500HD. The chassis and axles are beefier on the 2500HD, as it is based on the one ton chassis.

I guess you could say our team played....they won, but it sure wasn't impressive.

RE: Artic shows massive ice gains

Nice to see there are others who don't buy into the media view of doom and gloom.

RE: Tell me about the new Cedar Creeks

We were at the factory back in April (yes, the Silverbacks, regular CC's, Customs and Day Dreamers all go through the same line). We got to look at an experimental model and although it doesn't look quite like a Titanium, it has some of the same elements on the front. We looked at 2 different floorplans with the new "nose." There are some bugs to work out, but they are trying to be innovative and make their 5er's even more tow-friendly.

RE: New Diesel Owner/help

There are several online retailers who sell the fuel filters quite a bit cheaper than you will be able to find them locally and the best deals are usually when you're able to buy them in larger lots, such as 6 at a time. This how I do it and then split the lot with one or two other owners I know. As Ayrtime mentioned, you can always go the route of secondary filtration too, with several kits available and the Diesel Place is the best resource to find more info. As far as Allison spin-on filters, your best bet is to find a local Allison shop (a local medium/heavy duty repair facility, etc...) and buy them there. I pay less than $8 each for my Allison filters that way.

RE: Michigan loses college football week 1 VOLS-UCLA UPDATE

Chuck, Think whatever you want, your opinion is obviously biased greatly against Michigan. I merely made an observation based on what people posted. You and big tuna both proved my point by responding again with more ramblings. Thank you.

RE: Michigan loses college football week 1 VOLS-UCLA UPDATE

LMAO at some of you guys in this thread. If Michigan is so down and so out and in so much trouble, why are you all obsessing on them so much? Root for your team and hope that you can someday hope to have a team with such a rich tradition others will talk about it so much.

RE: Camping with Infant

We used one of those on every camping trip when the boys were little. It was ideal, although you had to be careful how you hooked it up on picnic tables.

RE: Know how tall you are!

We were in Mackinaw City, MI once, right where the Mackinaw Bridge starts to rise above street level. The final city street that runs under the bridge has about a 10'6" clearance. We saw a family with a F350 dually and a fairly large slide-in truck camper (with A/C unit) stuck under the bridge. The guy finally just drove through, ripping the A/C unit mostly off and I'm sure, damaging his roof as well. I felt sorry for them, but at the same time, wonder what they were thinking.

RE: Black Tank Flush

The black tank rinse like you describe has a back-check valve. That would be my first suspicion for problems.

RE: Wisconsin Family Campers

Check out the Rallies, Shows & Gatherings forum. There are a couple of decent sized Wisconsin rallies there yearly, one spring, one fall. We know several of the attendees and they are a lot of fun. I do believe there are a few families with younger children too.

RE: Diesel vs gas......................

You are very confused, that quote in red is by someone in Oregon that purchased diesel with a Safeway discount. If you are quoting someone else, then it is common practice to include that person's name/handle in the quote. You did not do so, making it appear you were making the statement. A mistake on your part does not equal confusion on my part. Like I said, which you've now proven further, you are just arguing because you like to argue. Let it drop, or prove me right again, makes no difference to me.
